For Android · Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar

Wake up.
You've got a meeting.

Alarmingly turns your calendar into a full-screen, impossible-to-ignore alarm — loud, at the lead time you choose, whether your phone is face-down on the desk or locked in your pocket.

Your calendar already reminded you.
You just didn't notice.

A quiet toast that vanishes in fifteen seconds, at a lead time somebody else chose when they sent the invite. That's the entire safety net standing between you and "sorry — did I miss the call?" Alarmingly replaces it with something built to actually reach you.

Everything a reminder should have been

Full screen, not a footnote

Subject, time, attendees, join link — the alarm takes over the screen the way a real alarm clock does, not a banner you swipe away half-read.

Your lead time, not theirs

Five minutes, ninety seconds, whatever gets you there — set it once, in 30-second steps. The organiser's reminder field is never consulted.

Rings even when it's closed

Backgrounded, swiped away, screen locked in your pocket — the alarm still fires. That's the entire point of an alarm, and Android tries hard to stop apps from doing it.

Every account, one feed

Connect Microsoft 365 and Google accounts. Each connected account is synced and alarmed independently.

Snooze, silence, or dismiss

Need five more minutes? Snooze. Want the details without the noise? Silence keeps the screen up and cuts the sound. Done? Dismiss — your call, every time.

Dismissal stays on this device

Dismissing an alarm changes its state on this device only. Alarmingly does not write dismissal markers to your calendar or sync them to another device.

How it works

  1. 1

Connect a Microsoft 365 or Google account. Calendar access is read-only: Alarmingly reads events to schedule alarms and never creates or changes calendar events.

  2. 2

    Set your lead time

Choose how many minutes of warning you actually want, and how you want to be told — full-screen takeover, or a quieter notification banner.

  3. 3

    Get alarmed, not reminded

Every meeting on every connected calendar gets its own alarm. Phone was face-down? You'll see it the second you pick it up — nothing gets lost.

Your calendar stays yours.

Alarmingly reads calendars directly from Microsoft Graph or Google Calendar over encrypted connections. Event details are cached on your device and are not sent to an Alarmingly server. No cloud settings or dismissal sync, analytics, or advertising are used.
